Synopsis[edit]

A GranBlueFantasy themed era game with dungeon crawling, resort management, and sexual training.

You are the contractor of the primal being 「era」 - the one who governs lust and pleasure. You were ordered to gather ZP, a nearly omnipotent energy produced by orgasms, and allowed to do whatever you like in order to further that goal. Let's develop the island into a resort by gathering people together, and make them cum to collect ZP.

Gameplay[edit]

Your main goal is to expand your resort's popularity. To achieve it, you want to expand your resort, increase your resort's popularity, and clear dungeons (using RPG combat with your employees, and dungeon map exploration) which are key to the main story's progression. These means require you, mostly, to make money (Rupies) and improve your relationship with the characters residing in your resort.
To improve your relationship with the characters, you can talk to them, and serve them tea, until their "Bound: Friend" value increases, then have more intimate interactions with them. In the long run, you'll be able to drink together with them, massage them, have sex, date with them, have them become your lover or your sex friend, give them new fetishes, and more.

How to play the game?[edit]

Click the repository link or get the latest translated build, then download some art and portraits for the characters, extract the .zip files into the "resources" folder next to the game's launcher named something like "Emuera.NET 1824+v22+EMv18+EEv53fix NAudio.exe", and you're good to go. You can find the image packs on the Japanese wiki, and the links for the English TL and Japanese branch's wiki to the top right of this page. Most of the game is in comprehensible English right now. But, here's some explanation:

  • Main image pack, titled in Japanese "All images before the 28th of July 2025". Enter the download key, written ダウンロードキー. it is "era". Then, click on the button to the right of the key you just wrote.
  • 2nd part of the image pack. It's currently being updated very frequently. Titled "From the 29th of July 2025 and onward" in Japanese. If the folder is empty, you can check the JP wiki for a more recent link, or wait patiently a few hours to a day. Lately, this link has been updated daily.
  • How images work: Generally, a set of 2 pictures is a decent minimum to bring a character to life. But there are many alternate outfits that characters can equip in this game, and images can be tied to all sorts of states and interactions. You can check in-game if a character has fitting images for a variety of outfits. So, don't be scared of missing out on anything if your favorite character doesn't have hundreds of pictures yet. If you want an example of a character with a lot of art, fitting well with all sorts of interactions, check out Patchouli for inspiration.

General Q&A[edit]

  • "What should I focus on, at first?" > use [Advertise the Resort] to buy advertisement as often as you can early on. Then, build up your relationships with at least 4 characters you like, and explore dungeons with them. Expand your resort as much as you can, and follow the main story events.
  • "Characters always refuse sex the first time I ask them, even when all their stats are maxed. Is it normal?" > Yes, it is normal. I believe there won't be as big of a stat loss when asking for sex, with a character who's almost ready to accept. Also, any points you had when asking for sex will help making this command more effective the next time you try. Do take time to increase again the characters' stats, as there will be a penalty to most aspects of your relationship with them, in case of refusal.
  • "I can't get this character to have sex with me, she always refuses, I don't understand why." > perhaps you are attempting this with a character that has the talent [Can't fall] or [No sex friends]. These characters will always refuse these interactions, as long as they have this trait. Hint: keep increasing your relationship with them, and you will unlock a solution to remove these negative character traits. Do note that the [No sex friends] characters will accept sex if you love them enough to commit to a love relationship with them, and [Confess] to them.
  • "Can I get immediately the character I want?" > Yes! In the sleep menu, go to [Advertise the Resort] and select [Suite free invitation]. You get one invite for free at the start of the game, then it will cost 20 000 rupies for each invitation. Select any Granblue character you want, you can sort them by image count or fetishes if you wish. They will arrive in your island at the beginning of the day once you press [Wake-up] in the sleep menu. This way, you won't have to rely on RNG.
  • "My resort's popularity is caped? Why?" > Popularity caps are removed when you progress through the game's main story. Perhaps there are dungeons you have not cleared yet? Or facilities you have not expanded?
  • "Characters I like are going to leave my island in a few days. How do I keep them around longer?" > While all characters will only inhabit your island, initially, for a short period of about 6 days, you can employ them. For 1 000 rupies a day, then 2 000 rupies a day if you hire them a second time to unlock more productive work for them (and deciding their outfits), the characters you befriended and hired will live indefinitely in your resort, near you. To hire a character, you must first be enough of a friend to them, by increasing their [Bound: Friend] value.
  • "I want my Touhou characters. Where are they?" > They are in this game. To have access to them and other cross-over characters from other franchises (EX characters), you must clear one of the first dungeons, "Island of Man-eating Bird" (lvl 4). It will unlock the sub-event [A Place Called 「Parallel Worlds」] after xploring each parts of the dungeon until you find some weird gate. Once you beat the dungeon and do the sub-event, you'll unlock the option in the [ZP Shop] to [Add special characters to the invitation list] for 50 ZP each. Series include Final Fantasy, Taimanin, Idolmaster, Touhou, Type-Moon, pokemon, Attack on Titan, Frieren, and many more.
  • "But... I don't see Patchouli in the list?" > A few Touhou characters appearing in Touhou 06 - EoSD will be unlocked after completing their special scenario. Just under [Add special characters to the invitation list], you can [Unlock special scenarios] to unlock the [Gensokyo - Scarlet Devil Incident] dungeon. Hint: It's okay to wait and be at a higher level than level 16 before clearing this dungeon. Remilia in particular will be a very tough fight because she has strong buffs she can apply to herself, and she regenerates her HP every turn. She will also cast a powerful AoE nuke at some point. You will absolutely need either a character equipped with "Proof of priest" equipment to remove her buffs, or use a character able to remove buffs in your team. I used "Vikala (Rin)" as a dodge tank, for her special ability [Rodent Rhythm] removing buffs on enemies if she dodges an attack. Few other characters have the ability to remove buffs, or increase your characters' accuracy sufficiently, so prefer to rely on the "Proof of priest" job.
  • "How do I get whereabout sense, and other useful QoL?" > You can buy them for a few ZP in [ZP Shop] > [Obtain a special ability].
  • "How do I get ZP?" > Make characters orgasm, and generally have sex with them. The more pleasure they get, the more ZP they generate. ZPs may be difficult to have in the very beginning, you soon will be acquiring a high quantity of ZP without necessarily thinking about it once you get at least one character as a [Sex Friend] or [Lover], so feel free to spend your points. It seems easier to have a loving relationship than a sex friends one, but you can only choose a limited amount of Lovers (which you can increase by spending high amounts of ZP) so be careful.
  • "Some dungeon battles are very hard..." > Remember to equip rings (increases stats of your characters), earrings (changes the element of your character. If using their base element, enhances it.), working equipment (i.e jobs. They unlock additional skills for your characters). Remember you can use items in battle. If you've progressed far enough, build then equip a vehicle, and build then equip weapons that fit on this vehicle, and of course use it in battle next to [items]. Renovate the garden, then the Training Ground to give XP to your lower level employees and giving you more freedom to change your team composition. Give [Dungeon Explorer] as a job setting for your highest level employees and send them in dungeons to see them get more EXP daily. You can also explore the highest level dungeon available to you with a team that has strong AoE, and farm encounters with numerous opponents to get EXP, this is generally slower than letting the days go on.
  • "Doing my... Dailies?" > There is a daily log-in system to the game. Load your save once a day, and you'll get a little reward each time. It can be rupies, ZP, a reroll ticket for the Imported Goods Store, or three "era's Friendship Anima", a powerful item implemented to band-aid possible balancing issues, by giving you a quick way to increase your [Bond: Friend] with a character and enable you to employ them instantly. Daily log-ins may be the only way to acquire this item.
  • "How far does the game's story go? Have I reached the end of this patch's content?" as of July 2025, the main story goes up to the renovation of the residential area for 2 million rupies, which doesn't trigger new story events yet. There should be a way to increase your resort's popularity by continuing to renovate every part of the resort, and get a proper story ending through an event you can select in the Sleep menu, but I have not tested this.

Resort Expansion[edit]

Expanding your resort can be done using the [Business Plan] at the sleep menu, and requires money. With [Facility Renovation] and [Large-Scale Area Construction], you can renovate different parts of the resort to unlock new interactions, increase your daily income, and your resort's popularity in the long run. Renovating some facilities may increase the different spots and locations existing in your resort, that you and other characters can travel to on the map. Here are examples of things you can renovate, and some notable things they will unlock:

  • Renovate the recreation room, to enable alcohol drinking and the interactions related to it. You can also play tennis, and later on expand it further to add a library, which will enable you to give new fetishes to characters.
  • Renovate your home, to be able to cohabit with some of your most trusted followers. This, in turn, enables you to buy in the "Mail order" some house items, like the "Massage mat" for 10 000 rupies, which enables you to give followers massages if you can bring them to your own room. Or the "Drink Cellar" for 50 000 Rupies, which enables drinking in your home.
  • Renovate the garden, to enable camping and later expanding the training ground, which enables training other characters. This will provide exp to characters you may not have used in battle, up to a maximum of your current highest level character. Characters may want to sleep outdoors together and camp, also.
  • Renovate the hot spring, facilitating your ability to peek at characters bathing, unlocking rooms to give massages to characters, and later improving the quality of the baths to restore more stamina at the end of the day, for all characters.
  • "I tried "hire specific employee" in [Employee settings], and it gave me a random mob character as an employee?" > Yes. Maybe this will change in the future, I don't know, but for now I would advise against using this command. Instead, once you hired an employee, continue to deepen your relationship with them, then you'll be able to hire them for 2 000 rupies a day instead of 1 000, which enables their presence in this menu and will make them live in the "Employee rooms" of your resort. Initially, you have 2 rooms, but you can expand them for a relatively low initial cost, which will increase for each subsequent purchase.

Characters[edit]

Meeting new characters is mostly done through three methods: Running ads, buying EX characters directly with 50 ZP in the [ZP Shop], or by sending a Suite free invitation.
After placing an ad, expect random characters to appear in your resort. You can encourage specific races to come, repeat customers, and new customers.
You can also send individual invitations to characters:

  • Either through a DM for 5000 rupies, that can get a repeat customer with a high enough [Bond: Friend], at least Acquaintance.
  • Or, through a Suite free invitation. For 20k rupies, you can get almost any new Granblue character to visit your resort, and lodge them in the "Suite", a part of your resort reserved for Suite free invitation.

To progress in your relationship with a character, there are 4 types of bonds you are encouraged to level up:

  • [Bond: Friend] - This is your most important bond with a character. Progressing it enables you to employ them for 1k rupie a month, then again 2k rupie a month to assign them to specific jobs on your resort. Increasing this bond will make it far easier to increase every other bond, and will make the characters more welcoming of your touch. This bond affects dramatically the success rate of most intimate interactions as well.
  • [Bond: Trust] - This bond may be the hardest to increase, offering generally fewer rewards for now. But maxing out the Trust bond can unlock the [Ally] Talent on any character, which reduces discomfort, hostility and disgust gains from any interaction, while also applying positive modifiers to a variety of actions, as well as arousal and affinity. But this deep trust will take time to build.
  • [Bond: Love] - A requirement to max to build a loving relationship, or to to overcome the [Can't fall] talent. This will affect the success of most intimate interactions, including kissing.
  • [Bond: Lust] - A requirement to max for sex friend relationships, or to to overcome the [No sex friends] talent. This will also affect the success of intimate interactions, at least the more sexual ones. Increasing it may also increase the maximum Desire gauge of a character.

There are multiple relationship goals you can reach between you, and the characters: You can have a character be an [Ally] by maxing out their trust, a lover by maxing their love and targeting them as a love interest (And later, marrying them if you wish), and confessing your feelings to them, or a sex friend by maxing out their lust, having them accept to have sex with you when you have asked for the sex, and repeatedly having sex with them over the days.

Characters also have two bars that can be filled or emptied throughout the day: Stamina, and Desire.

  • Stamina: it empties generally as a result of some intimate actions, but not all. If a character's stamina reaches 0, they will be incapacitated for the day. If their stamina reaches 1, you can still continue the actions you are doing for a bit, but stopping will have the same effect as them reaching 0 stamina.
  • Desire: it is an arousal gauge. The fuller it is, the more horny a character is. This may lead them to more easily accept intimate action, masturbate at night, or even nightcrawl you (alongside other factors, like being sex friends, or from the Draph or Erune race during mating season or in heat) if you sleep in your own room. Some characters at high desire, especially after acquiring an addiction to creampies for example, will pull you aside during the day and won't let you leave until they're satisfied (assuming they are lovers or sex friends).

The race of a character can also affect what interactions you can have with them. For example, [Horn brushing] is available when touching or massaging a Draph.
Also, keep in mind that while most characters are able to fight, some are not.
By making characters your employees for 2 000 rupies per month (which is the second level of employment), you will have access to more options:

  • You can ask for [Sexual services] during the day, from your employees. In exchange for money, they may accept to provide some form of service. This will increase prostitution XP. The more your relationship with a character progressed, the lower the price will be for any sexual interaction done through this command, all the way down to "free".
  • You can change the outfit your employee will be using throughout the day in [Employee settings]. To unlock more outfits, you can progress through the story, use the ZP shop's [Change the entire resort's environment] and use the field effect [Erotic Uniform Permission] for 2 ZP per day, or buy new outfits in the [Otherworld Clothes Shop]. Some characters will have pictures that change depending on the outfit chosen.
  • In [Employee settings], you can define their [Job Assignment]. This will enable you to have your employee work as [Promoter] to increase your resort's popularity, [Resident Duty] to increase your Rupie income, [Dungeon Explorer] to explore dungeons on their own, and others. For most jobs, as an employee continues doing the same job day after day, they will increase in level, giving far more impactful rewards for their work over time.
  • Employees need a room to sleep in. They can sleep in your private quarters, in the residential area once it's unlocked, or in the [Employee Rooms]. Early on, you will have to rely on building new Employee rooms for a relatively low Rupie cost. Lower level employee (1 000 rupies a month ones) can sleep in your guest area instead.
  • There are a few characters that have more specific and unique unlock conditions. For example: You can unlock an event about being able to see ghosts, if you meet Yaia on your island. This enables you to get her mother, Carentia, for 50 ZP. After unlocking Carentia, you can get another ghost-seeing event that will unlock Herzeloyde.

Dungeons[edit]

With the [Go exploring] option in the sleep menu, you can run a [Quick exploration] for some rupies, a [Dungeon Exploration] or manage the [Auto Exploration Setup], letting your most trustworthy employees acquire good EXP and fetch a few items for you at the end of the day.
Dungeons are an important part of your progression. They may enable you to renovate your facilities, and expand your resort. They may also unlock new functionalities, shops, and characters in the game.
To progress in a dungeon, you must for a party in [Exploration Setup]. You can use up to 4 of your employees in your party, and have them fight for you in a dungeon. You can also add a sub-member who will gain passively exp, but this option may only be available after unlocking further enhancements (vehicles and weapons).
Also, remember to equip a working equipment (Jobs) on you character, they can be quite powerful and easy to overlook. In the "Island of Man-eating Bird" (lvl4) dungeon, you are forced to encounter an NPC who will give you the "Job proof", alongside 4 "Working equipment" you can equip immediately on your characters. These items enable you to give strong abilities to any character you want, as long as they equip the given job. As you'll have unlocked this early into the game, make sure to use it. Some characters have access to more skills with some jobs, than others. The most likely explanation is that jobs give different skills depending on the type of weapon and battle style that the character has.

Depending on your choices when starting the game, you may have been offered pre-made setups of characters to choose from, to start your journey. Else, you may only have had one free direct invitation, usable in [Advertise the resort].
If you don't know what team to make, here's a suggestion using characters with high image count and voluptuous shapes:
1. Magisa, as an AoE mage and DPS, anchor of your team. Her ability Wall will also protect your team against debuffs. (Instead, you can equip any characters with the "Proof of wizard" equipment instead, to serve the same role)
2. Raziel, as a single-target DPS able to bypass defense stats. (Instead, other characters with Light element often have this same skill, but any other DPS can work just as well.)
3. Anthuria or Tweyen, as a dodge tank, thanks to the skill "Attract Dance". (Instead, any other character with Attract Dance can replace them. Any character equipped with "Proof of night" equipment can serve as a classical tank, enabling them to grant damage cuts to allies and take attacks instead of allies).
4. Shizuku Oikawa, unlockable from Idolmaster after progressing through the early dungeons, for 50 ZP in the ZP shop. Shizuku serves as an off-tank, her passive giving a few milk bottles as items for you team to heal 50% of your hp is quite useful to spend less money on potions early on. She will also give an item that enables you to use 3 items in a single turn, which can be quite lifesaving. Her skills enable her to deal consistent dmg, have some AoE, and heal herself back up. While also being able to get the CA gauge filled up reliably through item use (using the milk bottles on her during battle refills her CA gauge for 50%). This is the core team I've used. (Instead, you can equip the "Proof of priest" equipment on any character to have AoE healing for 50mp, dispel enemy buffs and remove debuffs)
Dodge tanks in this game can be pretty strong, especially for an aggressive strategy. If you'd rather use more bulky characters with more defensive skills, consider having a dedicated healer. While she is very MP hungry, Galleon can be a strong choice for example, both to fight-off debuffs and deal high damage.
As you progress through the game, you'll be able to build vehicles and attach weapons to them. It's easy to miss how to use them: these can be equipped in [Exploration Setup] once crafted, and used next to the [item] during battles, once every few turns or possibly every turn. A turn being a complete rotation of all characters' actions, meaning if the battle starts with Magisa attacking, the next turn will begin once it's Magisa's time to attack again.

At some point, the game's events will tell you to build a relationship with an elemental primal, to progress in the story and unlock renovations for the resort. The actual condition at present, is to clear the three dungeons these quests unlock: [Valtz Underground Factory] (lvl 12), [Ancient Deep-Sea Battlefield] (lvl 14), and [Windy Valley Path] lvl 17. You may want to use different elements and characters for these dungeons, or keep using the same characters but equipping elemental earrings most appropriate for the fights. For example, using Fire earrings to clear the Windy Valley Path.
- Special scenarios: Some dungeons will be unlocked by going to the ZP shop after beating the dungeon "Island of Man-eating Bird" (lvl4) and opening the gate to parallel worlds. Select "Unlock special scenarios" in the shop. Right now, there are three special scenarios you can unlock (right away): [What's With This Red Mist?], [Frieren's Lost], and 野盗と謎の一角獣.

Massages[edit]

Massages are one of the most fun parts of the game. You can give them to characters either by building a bath house (onsen), or by expanding your home and buying a "Massage Mat". Once a character has a friendly enough bond enabling you to use the [Lead around] command, you'll be able to easily lead them back to your room, or the onsen, and start a massage.
Massages a great way to increase all of your bonds to a character. You'll be able to give, and as your relationship with them improves to receive, massages from characters. Once you [Start massage], you'll notice a [Reason:] and [Vigilance:] bar appearing. Use regular massages to drop their vigilance, then use more erotic massages to ease up their reason, until they are fully relaxed and stop having any objections to your touch.
From there, if a character would normally refuse penetration and sex, you will probably not be able to start such actions, unless you use a [Hozuki Incense] consumable, obtainable for 100 ZP at the shop. Doing actions to a character that they would normally not agree to may increase their [hate] towards you for the day. If it goes above 3, it may reduce greatly their bonds to you, i.e all of their stats.

Other notable options in the Sleep menu[edit]

  • [Imported Goods Store]: This will allow you to buy rarer rings, gifts, or manuals. Items available are random. One of the daily log-in bonus gives you a ticket for a free reroll on the Imported goods items. Note: Manuals are items that can be equipped on characters in the [Exploration Setup] menu, using for example [Change working equipment] in the specific character's menu. Once equipped, the character will have Job skills available. For example, the "Proof of Fighter" gives the ability "Weapon Burst" which, for 100MP, charges instantly your CA gauge to 100%.
  • [Otherworld Clothes Shop]: Enables you to buy for rupies, generally 10k each, new outfits for your character. Is unlocked after beating the lvl 8 dungeon. Examples include nurse and catgirl outfit, FGO inspired outfits, Virgin killer sweater, etc.
  • [Restore old Equipment]: when acquiring rusted rings or earrings, this enables you to restore them into new rings or earrings.
  • [Souvenir shop]: Once you've unlocked the Airship Port Area, go there during the day and renovate one of the stands to get the souvenir shop. This enables you to buy for Rupies gift items you can give to characters to increase their bond to you. These stat increases scale with higher affection, so they remain quite useful at all stages of a relationship.
  • [General Store]: Unlocked the same way as the souvenir shop. Enables you to buy for Rupies potions, revival elixir, mana potions, and items dealing elemental damage. These items can be highly useful in dungeons.
  • [Accessory Shop]: Same as the two previous ones. While it costs 50k to renovate, it enables you to buy for 5k to 10k generic rings and earrings that are useful in the early game. Having access to all elemental earrings is quite useful.
  • [Place an order at Knickknack]: Click on this option, then click on the square under "Current Requests:" with initially written "Requests in progress: None". You can order specific items like gifts and food, including "Old earring - Gold" from this option. The request will be slowly completed over the passing days.

Cafeteria, and Meal Menu Development[edit]

Using a main ingredient, additional ingredients, and choosing a main cooking utensils, you can prepare meals to add to your menu in the Cafeteria. Some combinations of meals can give a "Menu combo effect". Feel free to share any known menu combo effects.See EraBlueResort/Meals list

Custom characters and adding portraits[edit]

You can easily create new characters, add new portraits to characters, and share them.

To create new characters, go to the title screen before loading your saves, and choose [2] Open CSV editor. You can import existing characters as a base, and create any character you want. You can define how they'll be unlocked (against 50 ZP as EX characters, for example), what series they're from, their body, their combat abilities, and much more.
To add new dialogues and in-game descriptions to characters, go to the title screen and select [5] Launch One-Line Comment/Explanation Editor.
To change the specific preferences and fetishes of a character, [4] Launch Weak Point Command Setup ERB Editor.

To add new portraits, you simply need to follow the naming convention of the game to name your pictures. To understand intuitively how they work, take a character folder having over 1000 images already, and take inspiration from it. You can follow the tutorial located in the root folder, titled ___キャラ画像の入れ方.txt

In short, here are the main points from the Japanese textual tutorial:

  • go to the folder erablue_resort/resources and enter the character's image folder. If it doesn't exist, create it: number of the character + name of the character. Example: erablue_resort/resources/1アニラ.
  • Take a .png or .webp file, rename it accordingly (for example, if you want to add art of Anila in swimsuit, enter the folder erablue_resort/resources/1アニラ and add a file titled 顔_水着.webp or .png (the kanji here mean: face_swimsuit))
  • Naming rules - prefix: Naming rules are detailed, with the proper kanji, in the .txt Japanese tutorial. Images start with either 短冊 (rectangular) or 顔 (face, meaning a square aspect ratio). You can start by making 短冊 (rectangular) pictures for your characters (If you're generating art with comfyui, this could be your 832 x 1216 generations). Then, crop them to a 300x300 or 600x600 resolution to have two new pictures added and named, only replacing the initial 短冊 in the file's name with 顔. The tutorial states that if you're unhappy with how the aspect ratio turns out to be, you can tweak a few things in "options". The option menu and pictures: Go to the sleep menu > [200] OPTION > [3] Config functions > [2] Image settings.
  • Naming rules - suffix: You can dedicate an image to specific outfits, and/or actions. The correct kanji to use, and a description with explanations are written in the Japanese .txt tutorial.
  • In summary, you can have individual pictures ('Face' / 'On Command' / 'Strip' etc.) for each individual outfit ('Default' / 'Wild Beast' / 'Onsen' etc.) for each individual command ('Headpat' / 'Fellatio' / 'Butt Grab' etc.) for each individual scenario ('Pregnant' / 'In Heat/Horny' / 'Pregnant AND In Heat/Horny' etc.), and you can have multiples of the same situation (e.g. having 'コマンド実行時_デフォルト_キス', 'コマンド実行時_デフォルト_キス1', コマンド実行時_デフォルト_キス2' and 'コマンド実行時_デフォルト_キス3' makes it randomly cycle between them).
  • When making pictures for your playable character, you can put all of these into the '0あなた' folder in the Resource folder, but it must all follow that format. You can also create subfolders to dump the stuff into, because you can tell the game which subfolder to look from, if you say wanted to have picture(s) for Male MC, Female MC, Female Erune MC, etc.
