User:Mr Pops Alot/Weapons
Weapons are used by the player and other characters alike to fight each other (and sometimes to put down enraged animals). Weapons have several characteristics that make them useful in different combat situations. Firearms do consume ammunition, but you will only have to restock if you're using a specialty ammo type. You only have to reload with reserve ammunition.

Ranged weapons[edit]
Range weapons consist mostly of firearms, as well as explosives, other non-gunpowder weapons like bows and throwing spears, and more advanced weapons like the QBZ-301.
Melee weapons[edit]
These are touch-range weapons. Besides dedicated melee weapons, all ranged weapons can also be used as makeshift melee weapons.
Note that melee accuracy is determined by a character's melee skill and further modified by health stats of manipulation and sight, as well as the opponent's dodge chance.
Where to get them?[edit]
You can craft them where you can mix. Obviously, better weapons will be unlocked when gaining crafting levels, starting from mediocre melee weapons at the start to laser guns.
You can also buy them by talking to Rika and Nitori. Rika's stock changes every day. Nitori can create all of them, but you will need to help her develop them by paying her Charisma. Once Nitori has developed them, you will have the opportunity to buy modifications for some of the weapons.
There are 3 spots on the map where you can find them while foraging: the Scenic Hills at the Youkai Mountain (Summit), the Genbu Ravine at the Youkai Mountain (Foot) and at the World of Ice and Snow in Makai.
If you meet Shinki, she will also offer you a gun, albeit a below-average one.
Ultimately, you can get the weapon of a character you pickpocket in time stop. It costs 80 TSP. Don't forget to think wisely about who you rob.
