Classes

These are the classes you're able to choose from when you create your character.

Devil Summoner

The Devil summoner is a class based on traditional SMT summoners with some extra flare and customization added in.. It has 4 style variants than you can pick from, each giving different benefits.

PROS
- Highest Summoner level, higher than any other normal class (No other class can go higher than 3. Summoner is lv5!).
- Can reform the party at Dungeon terminals.
- Excellent access to COMP abilities (Apps, Demon summoning and Enemy Analysis).
- Skill emulators lets you achieve some limited spell-like abilities.
- Can learn passive auto-skills (List of all of these skills can be found below the class overview).
CONS
- Can’t use spells or abilities that rely on MP
- You’ll never hit as hard as anyone else.

Style A – Traditional Style

This style is an all-rounder style that has access to both Tool Knowledge lv3 and Gunslinger Lv3. Both subtalents that are great for being flexible in combat. This is as OG as you can get.

PROS
- Excellent GUN user. (Can use special ammo and guns)
CONS
- Doesn’t really excel outside of GUNS and Item usage.

Style B – Physical Style

The Physical style grants you one big thing over other summoners. Durability! This is a pretty solid class/style to play if you’re just starting out EraMegaten and have no idea what you’re doing. The extra health means you can make a few mistakes.

PROS
- Highly boosted HP helps with early survival
- Highly resistant to ailments
CONS
- Can’t use guns very well.

Style C – Item/Ailment Style

This style is all about abusing items and inflicting ailments. Considering there are ALOT of items in the game that pretty much do what spells do you can be an extremely powerful asset, although your wallet is going to hate you.

PROS
- Boosted item strength, allowing for some unorthodox tactics.
- Easily inflict ailments.
CONS
- You’re buying/farming a lot of items just to be combat effective.

Style D – Assist style

Now this style is a tad different than the others. It’s far more about abusing skill emulators and passive skill slots. Other summoner classes are limited to 4 skill slots. This one has 8! You're not going to do much other than throw out the occasual skill emulator skill but

PROS
- Double skill slots allowing for more passives
- Surprisingly durable thanks to Defense Mastery Lv.3
- VERY powerful healing via skill emulators.
CONS
- Lack of successor means you can’t use Fused demon weapons.
- Extreme lack of any damage dealing.

Devil Summoner Auto-Skills

These skills can be learned after achieving the sale condition of a set amount of demons belonging to the same race. Thanks to Shake_Cans for assembling this list:

Tyrant:Auto-Makakaja (Casts Makakaja at start of battle, increasing the party's magic power.)
Divine:Law of the Hunt (Increase the power of DEVIL CO−OP this character participates in.)
Yoma:Temptation (During TALK, success rate changes depending on character gender and sexuality.)
Fairy:Folklore (Enemy analysation progresses quicker.)
Brute:Coaching (?)
Snake:Life Surge (Max HP increased by 30%.)
Beast:Auto-Tarukaja (Casts Tarukaja at start of battle, increasing the party's attack power.)

Element:Healing Wave (Heal all allies' HP by 5% at the end of battle, MAG is consumed.)
Kishin:Dark Might (During the new moon, physical attacks are always critical.)

Rumor:Auto-Samakaja (Casts Samakaja at start of battle, increasing the party's Magic effect.)
Fiend:Hyper Counter (?)
Hero:Equipment Knowledge Lv5 (Equipment effect is increased by 25%)

Adept

Adapts are magic users that have access to spells and abilities from multiple different sub-classes. In EraMegaten you pick two ‘sub-classes’, which gives you both of each sub-classes perks. In addition, if you're unhappy with the skills of your sub-classes you can learn new ones via skill cards.

You can’t keep all of the sub-talents however and have to pick them via a point system. The more powerful the sub-talent, the more it costs! Keep this in mind as you design your adapt.

PROS
- Flexibility in terms of skill/ability setup
- Can use skill cards to add/swap skills
- Different base stats allows for better min/maxing
CONS
- Limited sub-talent count.

Adapt, Capacity points and you!

Mentioned before, when creating your Adapt you select your sub-talents based on the two sub-classes you've picked. You have only a capacity of 20, so choose wisely. The more powerful the talent, the more it will cost. If you double up on a sub-talent you can access even higher level versions of them (For example, picking both Martial Artist and Swordsman can let you reach Trained Body lv5!). Some combinations can be very powerful!

As being a Summoner is vital in EraMegaten, you can pick up the Summoner sub-talent regardless of your sub-class choices. (5pt for lv1 or 15pt for lv3)

*NOTE* - It's possible to play without a Summoner Lv! Because of this, adapts can learn Sabbatma (which lets you summon a demon from your COMP).

PROS
- Can change into demon form for higher stats and skill usage
- Can change transformation without sacrificing demon
- Human Equipment-skills also apply to Transformation. (Ex. A sword that gives Advice for example will give Advice when the user uses TRANCE and fights).
CONS
- Only into one at a time
- Skills are set
- Can change only 1 weakness
- You don't receive starting transformation to your team.
- Transformation stats can only be increased manually with MAG Enhancement.

Demon forms, transformation and Stat Proportion

What is Stat Proportion? Stat Proportion is how a Transformation form's stats are distributed from the user's stat total. All Transformation forms have it, even Companions! This separates a human's stats from their transformation.

For example, if you were to build a physical-focused Human, dumping stats into Ag and St, the transformation will still inevitably end up with points in In and Ma! How much is dependant on the Linked-Demon's Stat Proportion. A low Ma score such as 10 would mean that your Ma would increase when transforming, but not by a lot while a score of 30 would mean that the form has a preference and will distribute points towards it! Only the Initial Starting Linked-Demons for the Player will have their Stat Proportion revealed while other Devil Shifters require some guessing and training to see what they become.

Half Demon

Acts as the in-between for Devil Hybrid and Devil Hunter. They are able to customize their resistances to a certain degree and can utilize Half-Demon only skills found on weapons. This class requires a Good Ending to Unlock.

PROS
- Able to freely customize resistances to a degree.
- Can use Half-Demon Only skills from weapons.

CONS
- Equipment cannot change Resistances.

Support Version

Devil Hybrid

Demonized humans who have achieved control of themselves. Effectively, you're playing as a demon with all the perks and weaknesses. When creating a Devil hybrid, you pick your resistances (which you are forced to pick weaknesses, but can pick many resistances in return.). Also, much like the Adapt and Expert, you can pick two sub-classes (or in this case, your demon race) that gives you access to some rather powerful skills and sub-talents (But you're still limited to the 20pt limit, much like adapt/expert).

PROS
- Stats are treated as a Demon
- Free to do different builds through MAG Enhancement
- Character does not consume MAG when exploring a dungeon.
CONS
- Only [Item KnowledgeLv3] is obtained, [Gunslinger] and [SummonerLv] are excluded.
- Unable to use Equipment
- Affinities must be changed through MAG Enhancement or Plug-ins.

Devil Hunter

Featuring Protagonist from the EraMegaten series! This class is one of the most powerful combat classes available to you, however it requires at least 5 good endings and you must have defeated Dante in the colosseum (who is roughly lv80!) to unlock it.

PROS
- A unique set of skills that can be learned that no other class can access.
- Potent early-game resistances.

CONS
- Considerable Unlock conditions
- The Player is a Half-Demon, meaning they are required to have at least three weaknesses that cannot be changed with equipment.

Tourist

The Tourist is pretty much what you would be in real life in a EraMegaten situation. It is a class built for a challenge as it has no features, only downsides.

PROS
- They start with some sexual ability and [Submitted].
CONS
- Start with all stats at 1!

Fool

If the tourist isn't hardcore enough for you then this is for you. This class is pretty much suicide...

PROS?
- NONE, YOU'RE A IDIOT!
CONS
- Start with all stats at 1!
- Receive 5x damage from all sources!
- Cannot wear equipment!
